Edward Tyndall is a documentary filmmaker and writer whose work investigates the moral and cultural fault lines of the American South and the borderlands of the Southwest. His award-winning projects illuminate the human stories embedded within contested landscapes.

Drawing on his experience growing up in the American South and decades of documentary fieldwork, Tyndall explores cultural collision, the weight of history, and the uneasy myths that shape American life.

He is a member of the writing faculty in the Department of Film & Television at the University of Colorado Denver.
